Tootsie & LuLu

19864681hqxvbgfwrf_ph.jpg

This is Tootsie. She is 3 years old and given to us by my daughter when she was just 6 weeks old. She is so sweet when she wants to be. I originally wanted her to be a house cat but she is my hunter and I can not keep her in. She has brought me presents such as field mice, moles, beetles and dragon flies not to mention birds. I almost wanted to give her away but I care too much for her and it is her nature so I guess I will live with it.

This is LuLu...When I talked to Donna, she told me to get a playmate for Tootsie that was a little younger so she would mother it and maybe calm down. Doug went to the local animal shelter and started looking. He saw LuLu sitting there looking sad all alone and said he could not resist her. She was the only one that was all by herself and she was looking so sad. so he brought her home. She was scared at first and they got along fine. Now LuLu is the dominant one and scares Tootsie with her hissing if she bothers her. I think she knows Doug rescued her because she will NOT leave him alone. It is something to see. She is much more calm than Toots.

This is when I like them :) So sweet.

These 2 persians, I was keeping until I found someone to take them. It didn't take long until I found the perfect person. "us". They are now members of our family and we love them. This Calico is Mollie....the white one is Winters-Sonne whiich we call Sonny.
Unfortunatly  Sonny passed away June 6th 06 and we miss him so much. We will always love him.

What would I do without you, my precious, furry friend?...

Part mischief, but all blessings, and faithful to the end!

You look at me with eyes of love; you never hold a grudge....

You think I'm far too wonderful to criticize or judge.

It seems your greatest joy in life is being close to me...

I think God knew how comforting your warm, soft fur would be.

I know you think you're human, but I'm glad it isn't true...

The world would be a nicer place if folks were more like you!

A few short years are all we have; One day we'll have to part...

But you, my pet, will always have a place within my heart.

I took this photo of Tootsie while Doug was holding her. I tried to put a dolls hat on her. I took a photo of our hibiscus and copied and pasted it so you could not see Dougs hands. I think it came out pretty and looks professional.

Shortly after we got LuLu, she was among the missing. We could not finss her. After looking for a while, my daughter asked for the camera and this is what we found. We didn't see her hidden with the dolls. I love this photo.

We were so lucky to get this photo. We had just let Tootsie in when a squirrel got on the deck. Toots saw the squirrel and started stalking it through the patio door. The squirrel saw toots, picked up the nut and taunted her for about 5 minutes. It was if the squirrel was posing for the camera. He/she looked  at toots as if to say Na na na na na, you can't get me or ha ha I got the nut!!! whatever, it was priceless.
